I don't think doom eternal Earth is different than Slayer's home planet. The Eternal Earth is the same. How else would the inhabitants of Eternal Earth know about Slayer. They prayed for him to save them because he already did a couple of centuries ago in Doom 64

What the developers should have done is give players the chance of choosing who to play with for the entire game. Not force players to separate from characters to do certain quests with others. I also just thought of it as the attack on the city not being the elites job. The brutes are more brutal and take out civilians better and in halo reach the new Alexandria missions barely had any elites and was mostly brutes from what I remember. I could be wrong but it just seems to me that the brutes role in the covenant army was to be the invasion force for cities and stuff.

Doom 2016 demons looked absolutely better than Eternal but still both games were good
